Cayenne Muscle Ointment is wonderful for those sore, deep tissue, muscle aches. The cayenne penetrates down into the muscle to help relieve sore, tight tissues.
The key constituent in cayenne is capsaicin, which relieves pain and is anti-inflammatory. It works in the same way as ibuprofen, because it helps to relieve pain by reducing the molecules that signal pain through the nervous system.
This ointment is great to use after a workout!
NOTE: When cayenne comes in contact with your mucosal membranes, eyes or open cuts/wounds, it will burn! Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after touching cayenne or use gloves to apply the ointment. If you are using the cayenne salve on your hands, consider applying it at night and then sleeping with gloves on.
Ingredients: cayenne, eucalyptus essential oil, lavender essential oil, echinacea extract, beeswax and olive oil
